R&D Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the R&D department in Archamps, overseeing four teams: research, analytical development, and patent innovation.
• Define objectives, priorities, and manage human resources for the R&D organization.
• Plan, coordinate, and deploy R&D projects to design future medical devices and improve existing products/processes.
• Supervise analytical development projects and ensure the proper functioning of analytical equipment in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee intellectual property activities, including patent filings, freedom to operate (FTO) analyses, and patent portfolio management.
• Lead scientific communication through technological monitoring, participation in professional congresses, and the publication of scientific articles or posters.
• Ensure quality compliance by defining indicators, writing procedures, and participating in internal and regulatory audits.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Materials Science.
• Proven experience in R&D team management.
• Extensive experience with hydrogels, polymers, and their characterization (e.g., rheology).
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and design processes.
• Experience with hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA), or aesthetic filler implants.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday).
• Fluency in both French and English.
