R&D Lab Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methods in accordance with pharmacopeia guidelines
• Conduct pre-formulation studies, formulation optimization, and process development for various pharmaceutical formats
• Perform benchmarking studies on powders and finished applications, such as tablets
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment
• Maintain accurate lab notebooks and prepare technical reports, data, and SOPs
• Support scale-up activities and technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing
• Use statistical tools and software to analyze and interpret data, including stability studies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytical method development
• Hands-on experience with laboratory and analytical equipment, including tabletting machines and dissolution/disintegration testers
• Strong understanding of pharmacopeia guidelines
• Strong analytical reasoning, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
