R&D Group Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple product development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and ROI.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing technical team by setting clear expectations and supporting professional growth.
• Manage projects according to the stage-gate model and resolve complex technical challenges in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and results clearly through reports and presentations to key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience working within an R&D environment.
• Strong experience in project management and driving results in a technical or laboratory setting.
• Fluency in both English and Swedish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading technical teams.
• Experience within the paint or coatings industry.
