R&D Engineering Technician III

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams by conducting product performance bench testing and contributing to design iteration activities.
• Develop, execute, and support mechanical, functional, and system-level test methods using new and existing test fixtures.
• Build, modify, and assemble prototype materials, components, subassemblies, and fixtures to enable rapid prototyping.
• Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory and test equipment.
• Maintain organized laboratory and prototyping spaces, including tools, inventory, and workstations.
• Analyze test data and assist with the preparation of technical reports and summaries.
• Perform all job functions in compliance with applicable GMP and ISO guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a technical or laboratory support role.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical testing, prototyping, or laboratory equipment operations.
• Minimum of a two-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with optical and electrical assembly.
• SolidWorks certification or proficiency.
