R&D Engineer - PhD on Safety of AI/ML-based Embedded Systems for Autonomy

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development on advanced algorithms and models for autonomous applications
• Design, implement, and test innovative solutions and prototypes
• Work with simulation and testing methodologies, such as scenario-based testing
• Analyze and apply scientific literature to practical use cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on embedded and intelligent systems
• Contribute to experimentation, validation, and performance evaluation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant field
• Holder of a Master 2 or equivalent in a related technical area
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following: Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Probabilistic theory, Data Science, Formal methods, or Simulation/testing methods
• Good understanding of embedded systems
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Proficiency in Python and C
