About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with weapon systems colleagues to respond to Unsatisfactory Reports (URs) and Significant Finding Investigations (SFIs)
- Provide technical support for legacy coded switches and CMS equipment
- Work with Military Liaison and System partners to resolve PAL-related Unsatisfactory Reports
- Evaluate coded switches to support stockpile assessment
- Support the development of Component Assessment Reports (CARs) as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five years of directly relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent to start
- Ability to work onsite 100% of the time in Albuquerque, NM
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a highly related field
- Demonstrated experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis
- Hands-on experience testing and debugging circuitry using oscilloscopes, logic/network/spectrum analyzers, and function generators
- Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as Matlab, LabVIEW, LTSpice, or ModelSim
- Experience with anomaly resolution, nuclear safety, or product realization of electronic systems
