R&D Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development and production of high-reliability custom capacitors and electronic components for national security.
• Collaborate with customers to understand design constraints and technical requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee test activities to characterize product performance in specified field environments.
• Perform data analysis, troubleshooting of test setups, and failure analysis.
• Document engineering decisions, design definitions, and technical test data.
• Partner with production teams and suppliers to evaluate processes and support product qualification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
• Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
• Experience with testing and debugging circuitry using tools such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Strong skills in data analysis and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with design and analysis tools such as Matlab, LabVIEW, LTSpice, or ModelSim.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage components, systems, or testers.
• Experience designing or analyzing high-reliability custom electronic components.
• Previous experience in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
