Quote and Proposal Writer

Responsibilities

• Create formal written quotes and proposals based on client specifications and laboratory services
• Ensure the laboratory maintains appropriate certifications to meet technical specifications
• Collaborate with outside sales account managers and technical staff to support business development
• Transition project wins from the Business Development team to Project Management
• Perform additional job duties as assigned to support the Environmental Business Development group

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• At least one year of related professional experience
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• 3+ years of related experience, preferably in environmental laboratory testing
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
• Knowledge of general environmental testing methods and the Department of Defense Quality Systems Manual (DoD QSM)
