Quotations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex building plans to determine customer requirements and offer profitable solutions
• Create accurate and professional quotation packages from customer specifications and drawings
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with vendors and customers
• Create pricing contracts and manage ship-to accounts
• Follow up on outstanding quotations to secure orders
• Investigate and resolve customer and vendor pricing or material return issues
• Communicate effectively with the Profit Centre Team to ensure customer expectations are met

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in contractor sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
• High level of detail orientation and organizational abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight timelines and multiple deadlines
• Intermediate math skills
• Ability to learn and operate specialized order processing software

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with plumbing and building products
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Experience with Trend and Eclipse software
