Quotations & Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex information and civil plans to create competitive quotations and submittal packages
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms with vendors and customers
• Analyze data to improve operating efficiencies and increase ROI
• Manage annual physical inventory counts and evaluate inventory reports
• Resolve customer, vendor, and carrier disputes and complaints
• Schedule and train teammates to ensure efficient Profit Centre operations
• Review daily sales reports and address issues immediately

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 2 years of wholesale distribution experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Intermediate math skills
• Ability to interpret performance data and take corrective action
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Waterworks/Underground utility products
• Experience using Infor M3
