Quotation Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to quote inquiries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop accurate formal quotes and comprehensive cost estimates for new and existing parts
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, purchasing, and finance teams to gather necessary data
• Perform price checks on existing parts to ensure accuracy and profitability
• Enforce minimum order lot sizes to optimize production efficiency
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to obtain vendor-supported quotes
• Track and process all quote requests through the company system
• Maintain quote analytics, including turnaround time, volume, and win rates
• Communicate directly with customers to clarify requirements and maintain strong relations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or technical environment
• Proficiency in specialized software and systems for quote management
