About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new fault-tolerance protocols for fusion-based quantum computation and entangled state generation
- Model the origin and propagation of errors
- Simulate and benchmark different protocols
- Co-develop the architecture in collaboration with the wider team and communicate results
Requirements
- Degree in Physics, Math, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of research experience in quantum error correction or linear optical quantum computing
- Strong knowledge of quantum information
- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Math, or Computer Science with a focus on quantum information theory
- Familiarity with error modeling, graphical calculus (tensor networks, ZX calculus), quantum networks, or quantum graph states
- Experience with C++ or collaborative software tools like GitHub
