Quantum Architect, Fault-Tolerance

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new fault-tolerance protocols for fusion-based quantum computation and entangled state generation
• Model the origin and propagation of errors
• Simulate and benchmark different protocols
• Co-develop the architecture in collaboration with the wider team and communicate results

Requirements

• Degree in Physics, Math, or Computer Science
• 3+ years of research experience in quantum error correction or linear optical quantum computing
• Strong knowledge of quantum information
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Math, or Computer Science with a focus on quantum information theory
• Familiarity with error modeling, graphical calculus (tensor networks, ZX calculus), quantum networks, or quantum graph states
• Experience with C++ or collaborative software tools like GitHub
