Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, take measurements, and prepare detailed cost and damage assessment reports for landscaping and swimming pool projects.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents specific to landscaping and pool works.
• Request, evaluate, and compare quotations, samples, and invoices from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist the procurement team with budgeting, cost forecasting, and project-wise procurement of materials and equipment.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and variations while preparing cost reports to maintain budgetary control.
• Support the finance team by preparing profitability, cashflow analysis, and cost analysis reports.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and project timelines.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in landscaping and swimming pool projects within the UAE.
• Comprehensive understanding of detailed drawings for both landscaping and pools.
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials, swimming pool construction methods, and related MEP elements.
• Proven expertise in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
• Previous experience in the Middle East is essential.
• Strong written reporting skills and experience with document control.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Driving license is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience working on luxury residential projects.
