Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities for healthcare fitout projects
• Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules to evaluate scope and cost implications
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to monitor costs and implement cost-saving measures
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify quantities and work progress
• Maintain up-to-date cost databases and industry benchmarks
• Assist in contract negotiations and change order evaluations
• Provide regular cost reports and updates to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Estimator, preferably in healthcare and fitout projects
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, construction methods, and contract management
• Proficiency in quantity surveying and cost estimating software
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
