Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates based on project specifications and drawings
• Manage project costs including labour, materials, and subcontractors
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle
• Analyze and evaluate contract variations
• Prepare regular reports on project costs, budget status, and financial forecasts
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on projects
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and cost estimating
• Experience in contract administration
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Right to Work in the United Kingdom

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in civils, infrastructure, or construction
• Experience with cost and change control
• Experience with subcontract administration
