About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead validation pricing activities and provide monthly cost advice to clients
- Manage procurement, payments, and claims for planning application workstreams
- Compile and manage open book reconciliation and audit information
- Act as sole Quantity Surveyor for Planned Maintenance Leaseholder Recovery
- Manage subcontract and supply chain commercial activities, including negotiations and payments
- Produce accurate monthly cost/value reconciliations, forecasts, and cash projections
- Collaborate with operations and client representatives to provide commercial guidance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, social housing, or maintenance
- Strong experience in cost validation, reconciliation, and forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills for data interrogation and live cost tracking
- Understanding of cost coding, allocation controls, and audit requirements
- Commercial awareness and contractual knowledge
- Valid driving licence
- CSCS card at appropriate level
Preferred Qualifications
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial qualification
