Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of all commercial and contractual aspects of heavy infrastructure packages to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
• Provide expert daily administration under FIDIC Conditions of Contract (specifically Design-Build/Red & Yellow books).
• Conduct thorough reviews, measurements, and verifications of contractors’ monthly payment applications and prepare recommendations for IPCs.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize variation orders, new rate build-ups, and change requests.
• Review contractor notices, contractual claims, and time-extension requests to assist in dispute mitigation.
• Perform routine site visits and physical quantity verifications to audit contractor progress reports.
• Maintain accurate cost control records and assist in updating project cost ledgers and cash flow projections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and commercial management, specifically in heavy civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Deep proficiency working with the FIDIC suite of contracts within a PMC or Client-side organization.
• High proficiency in industry-standard software such as CostOS, Candy, or Primavera.
• Advanced Excel skills for deep financial data analysis.
• Exceptional command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work on-site within the Tabuk province or similar remote project environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional membership or chartership with MRICS or MCIOB.
• Fluency in spoken or written Arabic.
• Direct experience delivering fast-track infrastructure packages on KSA Giga-projects.
