Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial aspects of construction projects to ensure delivery within budget and contractual obligations
• Manage FIDIC-based contracts, providing expert advice on claims, variations, and dispute resolution
• Lead the preparation of cost estimates, budget forecasts, and monthly commercial reports
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track financial health
• Manage the tendering process, including Bills of Quantities (BoQ) preparation and tender evaluation
• Review and certify monthly progress applications from contractors
• Evaluate and negotiate variation orders and change requests to minimize financial risk
• Identify potential commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
• Significant experience in large-scale infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in the FIDIC suite of contracts
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as CostOS, Candy, or Primavera
• Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East, particularly on "Giga-projects"
• Strong negotiation, influential, and communication skills
• Ability to work in remote or challenging environments within the Tabuk region
