Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Conduct site measurements of completed works and maintain updated measurement sheets
• Prepare and update Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost plans, and quantity baselines
• Support monthly valuations, subcontractor payment applications, and client IPC documentation
• Identify and flag drawing or scope discrepancies
• Track variations and claims while maintaining change logs
• Coordinate with procurement and site teams on quantities and cost impacts
• Maintain organized records, logs, and correspondence support
• Assist the Senior QS with commercial reporting and cost predictability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• 7–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Strong capability in measurement and quantification
• Proficiency in MS Excel and QS software
• Basic working knowledge of FIDIC
• Understanding of cost control principles and documentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Sri Lankan degree preferred
• Abu Dhabi Municipality certification
