About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed BOQs for piping works, including spool fabrication, erection, and specialized services like painting, insulation, and coating.
- Conduct accurate MTOs by reviewing SoW, P&IDs, and engineering documents to capture all required materials and specialty items.
- Collaborate with construction teams, subcontractors, and QC personnel to resolve discrepancies in progress reports.
- Develop comprehensive reports detailing executed quantities, remaining quantities, and progress metrics for management decision-making.
- Review and validate subcontractor invoices against completed work, contract terms, and approved BOQs.
- Oversee piping materials management, including purchase requests, deliveries, issuance, and stock reconciliation.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience specifically within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Proficiency in interpreting isometric drawings, P&IDs, and technical piping specifications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.
- Full professional proficiency in the English language.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
