About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage project finances to maximise gross margin and support budgeted profitability
- Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Measure, value, and agree work to support invoicing and payments
- Identify and negotiate contract variations with clients and the supply chain
- Produce monthly commercial reports and accurate cost forecasts
Requirements
- Experience in a similar quantity surveying role within construction
- Relevant qualification such as a degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
