Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractor procurement activities, including tendering, evaluation, appointment, and managing whole-life performance
• Support contract administration and change control processes to manage commercial risk and opportunity
• Provide accurate forecasting and reporting, including preparing client applications for payment and managing work in progress
• Manage safe entry into contracts through PLM governance and ensure compliance with commercial standards
• Contribute to team efficiency by monitoring utilisation and supporting bid and tender activities

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction, consultancy, design, or term-service environments
• Strong contractual awareness, specifically regarding NEC and general commercial principles
• Demonstrable experience in subcontract procurement and management
• Proficiency in preparing client applications, forecasting, cost reporting, and managing change control
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects with strong commercial judgement
