Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage project commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through effective contract placement and control
• Undertake procurement activities including subcontract enquiries, tender reviews, and valuation of project progress
• Produce monthly cost reports, manage risks and opportunities, and drive margin improvement plans
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Support and mentor junior team members by sharing commercial knowledge and expertise

Requirements

• Degree or HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
• Experience delivering multiple small or medium schemes with a clear understanding of JCT, NEC, and other main contract forms
• Technical understanding of MEPH services, components, and package interfaces
• Full driving licence and SMSTS/CSCS card
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications
• Organised and proactive with the ability to maintain accuracy in forecasting and reporting
