Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial resources of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin through contract placement and control
• Undertake procurement activities including subcontract enquiries, tender reviews, and order production
• Perform valuation and measuring of change, alongside producing monthly cost reports and commercial plans
• Manage risk and opportunity reporting and produce margin improvement plans to drive profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project team members

Requirements

• Degree or HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying (or suitable equivalent experience)
• Clear understanding of main forms of contract such as JCT and NEC
• Technical understanding of MEPH services and how packages interface with each other
• Full driving licence
• SMSTS/CSCS card
• Competence in Microsoft Office
