About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the site focal point for commercial and contract-related issues, interfacing with various departments, contractors, and consultants
- Safeguard the company's commercial interests and ensure the smooth running of contracts
- Provide contract-related cost control advice regarding changes in specifications or site working conditions
- Prepare monthly valuations of work done and alert the project team to potential claims situations
- Evaluate variation proposals submitted by contractors and support the evaluation of contractor claims
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and accruals for assigned projects
- Manage contract close-outs, final accounts, and final remeasurement of quantities
- Verify contractor payment proposals and negotiate disputed items within contractual timeframes
- Administer provisional sums and provide related cost estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)
- Proven experience in Onshore Site environments
- Experience working on MEGA EPC projects
- Strong expertise in contract administration and cost control
- Proficiency in cash flow forecasting and variation evaluation
