Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal commercial reporting and valuations/applications for payment
• Prepare cost reports to the client with contractually compliant documentation
• Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules
• Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts from requisition to final accounts
• Undertake contract administration, including change management and register maintenance
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering
• Assist in cost control, mitigation, and cash management (WIP and cash flow)
• Perform measurement of quantities in accordance with standard methods
• Draft subcontracts and identify insurance claims
• Update risk, opportunity, accruals, and CVR forecasts
• Conduct monthly safety inspections with the site agent

Requirements

• CSCS Card (White or Gold)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experience within the construction or engineering industry
• Commercial background with knowledge of standard forms of contract
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
