Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications
• Monitor and control project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and additional work to prepare cost analysis
• Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare and review contracts, subcontract agreements, and commercial terms
• Maintain proper documentation for quantities, procurement records, and contracts
• Prepare cost reports, procurement status reports, and budget tracking reports

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Procurement within construction or fit-out projects in Dubai
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
• Professionally Qualified Chartered status (RICS, AIQS, CIQS, ASAQS, or NZIQS)
• Proven experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and Outlook
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
