Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Provide support in all commercial and contractual matters for successful project delivery
• Support Project Manager in all areas of contract administration
• Monitor, manage, challenge, defend and resolve all claims and compensation events
• Support production of monthly reports including forecast costs, cash-flow, payments, and claims

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years as a quantity surveyor
• Experience within a rail or rail infrastructure environment preferred
• Proficiency in using NEC 3 or 4 contracts, specifically Option C target cost contracts
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related commercial management
• Strong analytical, negotiating, and commercial awareness skills
• Understanding of construction law principles
