Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties
• Support project teams in establishing commercial contracts and providing risk management guidance
• Undertake procurement activities including tender analysis and recommendation to award
• Support Project Managers in preparing Early Warnings, Compensation Events, and Project Managers Communications
• Perform cost assurance activities to ensure accurate applications for payment
• Monitor and report on contract expenditure against budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and manage cashflow forecasts and cost reporting for stakeholders
• Assist in avoiding disputes with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor contractor progress and verify compensation events
• Ensure compliance with commercial and financial governance processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience, preferably in T&D or related fields
• Experience with NEC and FIDIC forms of contract
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle for business travel
• Ability to work independently with minimal management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on high voltage substation construction projects
