About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing initial budget estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions
- Update detailed cost breakdowns, BOQs, and pricing schedules
- Monitor actual costs against budget and report variances
- Support procurement by preparing subcontract and supplier packages
- Assist in preparing interim payment applications and review subcontractor payments
- Identify, document, and negotiate variations and claims
- Prepare monthly commercial reports and support final account agreements
- Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- 4-8 years of experience in estimation within the fit-out or construction industry
- Experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, and corporate interior projects in the UAE/GCC
- Proficiency in PlanSwift, CCS Candy, or Excel
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, tendering, and Variation Management
- Understanding of FIDIC and local contract forms
