Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and commercial proposals for turnkey projects.
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BoQs), scope breakdowns, and structured work packages.
• Manage tender packages and commercial engagement with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate, benchmark, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Lead value engineering initiatives to align budgets with technical and operational requirements.
• Establish and maintain project cost control systems and visibility of budget performance.
• Manage project variations, change orders, and commercial adjustments.
• Develop commercial strategies for variations, extension of time claims, and disruption claims.
• Interpret and administer project contracts to ensure compliance and manage risks.
• Manage subcontractor performance, including payment assessments and final account settlements.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and commercial reports.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Contract Administration.
• Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience in construction-related sectors such as interior fit-out, exhibition construction, or turnkey project environments.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial management, and claims management processes.
• Proven experience in variation management and contractual claim resolution.
• Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages (such as German) are an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
