Quantitative Tutor Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Quantitative Center tutors through oversight of peer tutoring hours, agile scheduling, and online training.
• Develop data-driven approaches to implement policies and practices for successful peer tutoring across departments.
• Oversee orientation and online pedagogy training for tutors using Canvas-based modules.
• Assist the director with tutor hiring, allocation of tutoring hours, and semester-long support projections.
• Analyze tutor session attendance data and evaluate weekly activity logs.
• Lead weekly tutoring sessions in high-level STEM/Quantitative courses as needed.
• Oversee front-desk staff training, scheduling, and payroll.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in a STEM field.
• Experience working with STEM student peer tutors.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or course instructor for STEM college students.
• 3 years of experience working in a teaching and learning center involving pedagogically appropriate activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a STEM field.
• Experience as a STEM teaching assistant or instructor for both lectures and labs.
• Certificate in College Teaching with formal pedagogy training and curriculum design.
• Previous experience working in a STEM-focused college teaching center.
