About the role

Responsibilities

  • Architect and oversee the design of advanced frameworks for complex data analytics to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Lead sophisticated data analysis initiatives to derive insights from large financial datasets for strategic decision-making.
  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end analytics solutions and user tools for liquidity, funding, and capital management.
  • Partner with technology teams to drive the development of innovative analytical frameworks and optimization strategies.
  • Lead automation strategies by transforming manual processes into efficient, scalable digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with global Quantitative Research teams and senior stakeholders to translate technical concepts into business insights.

Requirements

  • Experience in a quantitative role within the finance industry.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
  • Expert-level programming skills in Python, with experience developing large-scale, production-grade systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of trading concepts, strategies, and market terminology.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in derivatives pricing theory and financial regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of bank balance sheet management and financial optimization problems.
  • Proficiency in Java programming.
  • Experience with rigorous testing and verification methodologies for analytical systems.
