About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build new scalable systems
- Maintain FPGA code
- Use Python for unit testing
- Use ModelSim for simulation
- Debug and fix FPGA issues
- Innovate and design solutions to overcome current limitations
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Architecture, or a closely-related engineering discipline (in progress or completed)
- Experience coding in VHDL/Verilog
- Proficiency with Python for unit testing
- Experience using Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs
- Familiarity with ModelSim
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as IP, TCP, and UDP
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working on large FPGA Stratix V and/or Virtex UltraScale+
