About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and build new scalable systems
  • Maintain FPGA code
  • Use Python for unit testing
  • Use ModelSim for simulation
  • Debug and fix FPGA issues
  • Innovate and design solutions to overcome current limitations

Requirements

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Architecture, or a closely-related engineering discipline (in progress or completed)
  • Experience coding in VHDL/Verilog
  • Proficiency with Python for unit testing
  • Experience using Xilinx and/or Altera FPGAs
  • Familiarity with ModelSim
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as IP, TCP, and UDP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on large FPGA Stratix V and/or Virtex UltraScale+
