Quantitative Strategist

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial teams with deal structuring and risk management
• Develop pricing models and libraries capturing specific market attributes
• Evaluate risk and provide analysis of trading positions to facilitate hedging
• Build risk reporting frameworks for portfolio sensitivities, VAR, and credit
• Quantify funding, accounting, FX/rates, and tax implications of positions
• Support operations, logistics, and settlements teams with troubleshooting
• Collaborate with Technology teams to enhance trade management and scheduling platforms

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for programming pricing models and risk systems
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to liaise across sales, trading, and finance
• Experience in the commodities space
• Director level: 10+ years as a quantitative analyst in commodities
• Vice President level: 6+ years as a quantitative analyst in commodities
• Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of Beacon, SecDb, Athena, or Quartz
