Quantitative Researcher

Responsibilities

• Build statistical and predictive models
• Manage all aspects of the research process including methodology selection, data collection, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring
• Apply rigorous modeling techniques to explore various datasets
• Build new and improve existing long-term signals
• Optimize quantitative code and numerical methods
• Adapt, fix, write tests, and re-implement strategy execution code

Requirements

• Technical degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering
• Strong math skills in statistics, linear algebra, and optimization
• Practical knowledge of Python and libraries such as NumPy and Pandas
• Full working proficiency in written and verbal English
• Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or MSc degree in a quantitative field
• Practical knowledge of C++ or Java
• Competitive Programming experience or participation in International STEM Olympiads
