About the role
Responsibilities
- Build statistical and predictive models
- Manage all aspects of the research process including methodology selection, data collection, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring
- Apply rigorous modeling techniques to explore various datasets
- Build new and improve existing long-term signals
- Optimize quantitative code and numerical methods
- Adapt, fix, write tests, and re-implement strategy execution code
Requirements
- Technical degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Strong math skills in statistics, linear algebra, and optimization
- Practical knowledge of Python and libraries such as NumPy and Pandas
- Full working proficiency in written and verbal English
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD or MSc degree in a quantitative field
- Practical knowledge of C++ or Java
- Competitive Programming experience or participation in International STEM Olympiads
