Responsibilities

  • Identify trading opportunities using strong quantitative skills and coding proficiency
  • Collaborate on a variety of projects to gain insight into market dynamics and trading strategies
  • Use a proprietary research platform to accelerate the innovation process
  • Implement new concepts quickly by combining knowledge from different domains
  • Test and implement new ideas using a data-driven and probabilistic approach

Requirements

  • Currently a PhD Student, Postdoc, Professor, or in a similar advanced research position
  • Highly analytical background in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong intuition and deep thinking with complex data sets
  • Ability to quickly decipher signal from noise in data
  • Familiarity with classical statistical methods
  • Experience programming in low-level computer languages such as C++
  • Experience in setting up research frameworks and executing projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern AI techniques and methods
  • Interest in working on Applied Machine Learning problems
  • Understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and microstructure
