Responsibilities
- Identify trading opportunities using strong quantitative skills and coding proficiency
- Collaborate on a variety of projects to gain insight into market dynamics and trading strategies
- Use a proprietary research platform to accelerate the innovation process
- Implement new concepts quickly by combining knowledge from different domains
- Test and implement new ideas using a data-driven and probabilistic approach
Requirements
- Currently a PhD Student, Postdoc, Professor, or in a similar advanced research position
- Highly analytical background in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong intuition and deep thinking with complex data sets
- Ability to quickly decipher signal from noise in data
- Familiarity with classical statistical methods
- Experience programming in low-level computer languages such as C++
- Experience in setting up research frameworks and executing projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern AI techniques and methods
- Interest in working on Applied Machine Learning problems
- Understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and microstructure
