Quantitative Research Intern

Responsibilities

• Create practical solutions for systematic equity trading or fixed income options desks
• Conduct statistical analysis of market data and historical trends across multiple asset classes
• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and machine learning techniques to identify trading opportunities
• Work with traders and researchers to build and refine research infrastructure and tools

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in a technical discipline (Statistics, ML, AI, Quantitative Finance, etc.)
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and October 2028
• Proficiency in Python and the machine learning stack (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn)
• Experience exploring large datasets with strong programming skills
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability theory, and stochastic calculus
• Knowledge of numerical algorithms such as Monte Carlo simulation or finite differences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Exposure to High-Performance Computing (HPC)
• Publications in top-tier journals regarding NLP or HPC
