About the role
Responsibilities
- Forecast contact center demand at daily and monthly intervals to assist with resource planning across CCB operations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing call volume and productivity forecasting processes.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve forecast accuracy by comparing results with actual outcomes and implementing improvements.
- Provide analytical leadership to cross-functional teams to prepare detailed integrated forecasts across multiple lines of business.
- Communicate complex analytical results to stakeholders and senior leadership in an easily understood manner.
- Explore opportunities for creating automation frameworks using Python.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in forecasting to ensure organizational innovation.
Requirements
- MS or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in business planning and processes with a strong modeling background.
- Hands-on experience with time-series forecasting and advanced statistics (e.g., Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Auto-Regression).
- Proficiency in analytical and statistical tools such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Experience delivering descriptive statistics, inference, and visualizations to communicate with partners.
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big-data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or SparkML.
- Familiarity with SQL, Hive, or other data table operations.
- Strong applied technical skills in Python.
- Experience with tools such as Trifacta, Alteryx, or SAS.
- Advanced knowledge of Call Center Operations, Contact Center Metrics, and Workforce Planning practices.
