Quality Test Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and execute automation suites for UI, API, and data quality to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Design and execute performance tests to identify bottlenecks, scalability gaps, and system constraints
• Perform data quality validations, including schema checks, transformation logic verification, and anomaly detection
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing that meets reliability and performance goals
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and coverage
• Collaborate with developers and architects to research and identify root causes for defects and data anomalies

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA Test Engineering experience, including hands-on automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience validating data-intensive systems and high-volume datasets
• Experience testing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps-aligned testing, and QA methodologies
• Experience testing modern frontend applications (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with testing in cloud-based environments
• Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured
• Understanding of industry QA trends and emerging test methodologies
