About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and execute automation suites for UI, API, and data quality to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Design and execute performance tests to identify bottlenecks, scalability gaps, and system constraints
- Perform data quality validations, including schema checks, transformation logic verification, and anomaly detection
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing that meets reliability and performance goals
- Build and maintain automation frameworks and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and coverage
- Collaborate with developers and architects to research and identify root causes for defects and data anomalies
Requirements
- 3+ years of QA Test Engineering experience, including hands-on automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience validating data-intensive systems and high-volume datasets
- Experience testing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps-aligned testing, and QA methodologies
- Experience testing modern frontend applications (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with testing in cloud-based environments
- Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured
- Understanding of industry QA trends and emerging test methodologies
