Quality Technician – Welding

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded components and assemblies
• Verify compliance with welding procedures, standards, and customer specifications
• Support welders and production teams with technical guidance and feedback
• Manage non-conformities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Maintain inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering and quality colleagues to enhance processes and product reliability

Requirements

• Technical education in welding, materials, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Solid experience in welding inspection or quality control within manufacturing
• Knowledge of welding standards such as ISO 3834, ISO 5817, or ASME
• Strong communication skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

• NDT V2 certification
• Certification as a Welding Inspector (IWI, IWS, or similar)
