Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for quality control and in-process testing of incoming materials, production, and finished products
• Follow established test protocols and SOPs to ensure compliance with food and feed safety standards (including ISO 9001/17025)
• Proactively identify, document, and escalate deviations, trends, and non-conformities
• Record results accurately in quality systems to maintain data integrity
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with internal teams and external testing partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in food science, biology, or chemistry preferred (relevant working experience in a related field will be accepted)
• Hands-on experience performing quality control procedures, ideally in food manufacturing
• Working knowledge of food and/or feed safety regulations and quality management systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and maintain high attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong mathematical/deductive reasoning skills
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• HACCP or PCQI certification
