About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect and approve all vendor yarns and in-process yarns at the Yarn and Dye Plant
- Maintain up-to-date files on all yarns and colors
- Maintain standards on all new colors, including vendor yarns
- Coordinate with Product Development to obtain standards from markups
- Perform twist checks on all processes and inspect air entanglement operations as needed
- Set up orders as required and perform other duties assigned by the Plant Manager or QC
Requirements
- Familiarity with Yarn and Dye plant operations
- Proficiency in SAP and other computer systems
- Ability to recognize and distinguish colors and shades
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a demanding environment with frequent priority changes
