About the role

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Quality System procedures
  • Perform routine equipment verification and calibration
  • Perform routine review and quality control of analysis and supporting records
  • Maintain and monitor chemical, standard, and reference control materials inventories
  • Review instrument qualification and maintenance records (IQ/OQ/PQ/PM)
  • Assist with Health and Safety related items
  • Maintain and archive laboratory and QA records
  • Create and update method schemes and QC codes
  • Monitor equipment and supporting systems for compliance
  • Maintain staff training records
  • Participate in internal audits and for-cause investigations
  • Support investigation of non-conformances and customer complaints

Requirements

  • BSc. or Diploma in a science discipline
  • Previous laboratory experience in ISO/IEC 17025 preferred
  • Experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in a regulated industry preferred
