Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect material to ensure it meets quality specifications
• Report on tile deficiencies and irregularities
• Separate waste and ensure proper functioning of equipment
• Plan efficient product changes and complete shutdown tasks and procedures
• Communicate unusual conditions, equipment issues, and production changes to cross-shift operators

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Quality Control/Assurance background
• Experience with visual quality inspections in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications
• Proficiency with data entry and computer programs including Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements
