Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Support Quality and Operations (OPEX) teams by promoting quality best practices and leadership
• Perform startup, last article, and in-process inspections on finished goods and components
• Audit and inspect manufactured products to determine acceptability based on defect categories
• Contain non-conforming products and communicate trending conditions to support teams
• Interpret technical drawings, quality plans, and control plans
• Record inspection and audit results accurately on Batch Records
• Provide follow-up and verification activities to support corrective actions and process adjustments
• Coach, train, and mentor coworkers on the fundamentals of Quality

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
• Proficiency with SAP and MATTEC systems
• Experience using measurement equipment including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a color vision test
• Basic math skills (fractions and decimals) and computer proficiency
• Forklift certification or willingness to undergo training
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
