Quality Technician (Metrology)

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional measurements using metrology equipment such as CMM, calipers, and micrometers
• Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using software like Calypso
• Interpret technical drawings and GD&T specifications to ensure product compliance
• Maintain the accuracy and traceability of all measurement results
• Analyze measurement deviations and identify root causes for non-conformities
• Support Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and statistical evaluations
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure product excellence
• Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards

Requirements

• TSU or Engineering degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in metrology or measurement systems
• Proven experience in CMM programming
• Proficiency with measurement software and metrology tools
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards
• Experience operating optical comparators (OGP)
• Familiarity with MSA and statistical studies
