About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and periodic part inspections for all manufacturing processes to ensure product conformity.
  • Approve and verify first off/last off inspections using variable and attribute gauging.
  • Monitor and inspect received, in-process, and finished products to ensure quality standards.
  • Complete required documentation, including in-process inspection sheets, tagging, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Conduct mechanical and chemical testing, such as adhesion, tensile, hardness, and salt testing.
  • Perform product validation after re-work processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of quality gauges on the shop floor and in the quality lab.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs and perform capability, gauge, and R&R studies.
  • Oversee the management of the quarantine cage and perform sorting/containment activities.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar quality technician role.
  • College courses in a Quality-related discipline.
  • Ability to drive a forklift.
  • Fluency in the English language with strong communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of technical specialties and process requirements.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent certification.
