Quality Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished and in-process goods to verify compliance with work instructions, specifications, and quality standards
• Perform first-piece inspections and conduct visual, mechanical, and functional tests using appropriate tools and gaging instruments
• Accurately record inspection results and input data into quality management systems to track performance trends
• Analyze inspection data to identify root causes of defects and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions
• Assist in the development and updating of inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists
• Perform internal audits to ensure quality standards and safety protocols are consistently followed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar quality technician or inspector role
• Comprehensive subject matter knowledge and proficiency in handling complex technical issues
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending and stooping
• Manual dexterity to handle small objects
• Ability to work in a noisy production environment
