About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished and in-process goods to verify compliance with work instructions, specifications, and quality standards
- Perform first-piece inspections and conduct visual, mechanical, and functional tests using appropriate tools and gaging instruments
- Accurately record inspection results and input statistical data into quality management systems
- Analyze inspection data to identify root causes of defects and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions
- Assist in developing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists
- Perform internal audits to ensure quality standards and safety processes are consistently followed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar quality technician or inspector role
- Comprehensive subject matter knowledge and proficiency in handling complex technical issues
- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle small objects and work in noisy environments
